Kidnapped
When exactly did Kidnapped get so good? After a slow start, the story seems to be leading us in several directions at once. We have a wealthy businessman who seems to have a shady past, an ex FBI agent who is somehow a part of the vendetta being expressed in the kidnapping, and another current FBI agent who was about to retire until this case brought him back to active status.
The kidnappers seem to be as smart and disciplined as any crack military outfit, with money and skills to rival the best of the spy organizations. Just when you think that you know who the mastermind is, he turns out to be a strategic coordinator, but certainly not the leader.
Most of those involved in the kidnapping have already been killed by the mastermind, and some of their soldiers seem willing to take their own lives with cyanide, rather than give up any information. It will be intersting to see how this all resolves, assuming that the series, which I understand is having difficulty finding an audience, manages to survive that long.
