Survivor and the winner is......
Mr. Yoga boy - Aras works the downward facing dog pose and picks up a cool million. I was personally rooting for the old guy to win it, but, when it counted, Terry couldn't win the last challenge. Hence, Terry became the final jury member. I did admire his mental toughness and his ability to win almost every immunity challenge, as he knew, he'd be voted off.
The car curse is still working - Terry won the car and did not win the million.
The immunity doll did not work to his advantage either, Jeff mentioned if Terry actually lost a challenge earlier, then the idol would have come into play - forcing Aras out. But I can understand Terry not wanting to lose and assure himself into the final three. But if you are going to get into the final three, you need to have fate in your own hands and not in the hands of someone else.
So what strategy is the best in this game? Form alliances, lie through your teeth? Make sure you are the strongest and most competitive? Never lose? Don't piss people off? The game is also about numbers too, if you have a good strategy, but get stuck on a crappy team, no matter what you do, you'll get picked off.
As much as I would love to participate in this show, I think I'd pass. Too many variables that are out of your control. Now Amazing Race is something I'd sign up for in a red hot minute.
