Sopranos -Daddies Little Girl

There can only be one Alpha Male! Tony feeling a bit deballed, talks to Melfi and she sets the boss straight. I think Melfi inadvertently put the claws back into Tony with her sage advice. It's always a contest with guys - who's is bigger - years and years of evolution, it still comes down to the basic of basics.

I loved the Italian wedding - being full blooded Italian, I've been to my fair share but never one quite like that one. We find out the cost of the wedding was a mere $425,000 (I think that might pay for a second story on my house) not including the honeymoon! Tony surmises when Meadow ties the knot it's going to cost him a half a rock. Again, the Alpha male kicks in.

A real funny scene to me was when Johnny Sack's wife is trying to "lose" 8 more lbs to fit into a dress for the wedding, I am thinking to myself geez, I guess she wants to go from 350 to 342 - that was a whole lot of woman.

Another funny scene is at the wedding when Johnny is dancing with his daughter and they are dancing to "Daddies Little Girl" I guess they meant it figuratively. What is it with Italian women and weight? Is it too much pasta?

In the end, we find our favorite gangster at a gay bar looking for some male companionship and getting busted by a couple of the collection soldiers. Vito, realizing the gig is up, checks into a motel room with his gun and we are lead to believe that he will suck a bullet - we can only have one Alpha Male!
