Shark: Deja Vu All Over Again
Is it possible that the networks gods are listening? When I first tuned into Shark, I was optimistic. Unfortunately, that optimism was dashed when it seemed that each episode was an overdose of James Woods in Overly-smug mode. You could create a drinking game where you took a shot every time he crossed his arms, or every time he said "I love being right" or worse, every time he smirked about being smarter than everyone else on the show.
This latest episode is either a quirk, or a turning point. Let's call this one James Woods lite. The other players were well featured. No one was made to look stupid. James Woods let someone else win a case.... and there was still a happy ending. Maybe the show has possibilities. It's still too early to start telling folks to add the subscription to their Tivo, but we'll keep watching.
