The Nine: Take Me Instead
Is this a drama or a soap opera? I am curious what the fan base for this show is. A friend of mine said that it was now his wife's favorite show. That does not surprise me since what started as a drama is quickly devolving into a soap opera. We've got the couple who broke up just before the boyfriend took up with another hostage and discovered that his former girlfriend was pregnant. The cop with the gambling problem. The Assistant DA who fell for the cop with the gambling problem, but accepted the marriage proposal from her boyfriend anyway. And on and on...
I'm not sure what my expectations are, but for pure dramatic soap opera, I'll TiVo General Hospital if it comes to that.
